Jorge Trujillo, a senior at Rio Rico High, took third in the Division 3 boys championship race at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state final at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Trujillo covered the 5-kilometer layout in 16:02.8 to help Rio Rico finish 14th overall with 375 points.
